Top 5 Richest Reality Show Clowns
Unfortunately, today’s society is overly attached to reality TV shows, which is making talentless people richer and richer every day. To make matters worse, some of them are not only talentless, but are at the same time serving as promoters of twisted lifestyles. These are the worst of the worst, but also the richest reality show clowns.
1. Honey Boo Boo
Many say that Honey Boo Boo and her family symbolize the worst America has to offer. Nevertheless, this child reality star absolutely mesmerized the public ever since her first appearance in TLC’s Toddlers and Tiaras.
Alana Thompson and her mother behaved so repulsive on the show that they became an instant hot topic. And although most people were disgusted by their life choices, the two of them drew attention like two, well, very large magnets. The marketing team from TLC quickly realized their potential and launched a special “spin-off” reality TV series – Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
As the show’s popularity skyrocketed, critics expressed growing concern over the glorification of an extremely unhealthy lifestyle. Eventually, TLC canceled the show when it became clear that Alana’s mother got back with her ex boyfriend who had been convicted of child molestation. But, before Here Comes Honey Boo Boo came to an end, Alana got rich.
Now, she has a net worth of over $800,000, which is mostly because of the salary from the show (reportedly $50,000 per episode).
